If a student or postdoc submits an abstract and it is accepted, then we will waive their conference registration fee. We will also have a limited set of travel grants. Please reach out to n.eder@interplan.de if you need further information.
Below, you can find the guidelines for abstract submission:
Title: max. 300 characters / 50 words
Abstract body: max. 3600 characters / 500 words
You can choose between 3 preferred presentation types: oral presentation, scientific poster or company poster.

Your abstract was accepted as a poster? Please find the specifications for your poster below.
Please note that due to the hybrid event format, all posters will be available on the online platform as an e-poster as well as in a printed version in the poster exhibition in Berlin.
All posters need to be brought to Berlin already printed with the following specifications:
- Portrait or landscape format (we recommend portrait format)
- Size: Please bring the poster in a format no higher than 56”/145cm and no wider than 46”/117cm (Please note that bigger posters won’t fit the poster board properly. It is absolutely ok if your poster is a smaller size than this, for example DIN A0.)
- Please include all co-authors and their information on the poster itself
For the e-posters on the virtual platform please provide your poster as follows:
- PDF file of your poster, preferably in portrait format. For the e-poster, we recommend that the .pdf file has the size of an A0 sheet (841mm x 1189mm or 33.11in × 46.81in).
- You can hand in a head shot (in png format) during the submission process. This is not mandatory.
- Please hand in your e-poster until November 2, 2025
- Title word limit: 25 words
- Word limit for abstract: 500 words
- You can choose between 3 preferred presentation types: oral presentation, scientific poster or company poster
- Only one abstract can be handed in per individual
- Please use the template provided in the submission tool
